Extensive hull optimization
With extensive CFD analysis, the ship configurations are further optimised for reduction of fuel consumption and fine-tuned to the specific operational needs. CFD analyses result in better predictions of vessels’ characteristics and performance.
Cargo vessels using LNG as fuel
All Damen cargo vessels have been developed with built-in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) fuel tanks. Built-in tanks result in better stability and safety for crew and environment. Special ventilation and gas detection has been installed to avoid risk in case of leakage.
Ballast Water Treatment System
The unique InvaSave technology is based on continuous fine filtration combined with UltraViolet treatment. Sludge and sediment is dewatered and compacted in a secondary treatment so it can be further processed safely ashore.
